Hi this is uber nerdy.
Is there anywhere i can get the serial code for spss sigmaplot?
Its a graphics package for drawing scientific graphs very quickly and accurately, and it does most of the statistics for you. In short its a thing of beauty.
I downloaded the 30 day trial for free, but its giving me some bs about my computer being printed with a serial number now to it, which may infer you cant just nick the code or generate it.
But if theres any free versions kicking around...
I've got sigmaplot 10 now (trial), but if theres a free version with code from v.8 upwards i'll be elated.
Karma and cookies for any help
(neg for the first bugger to say use google, ive looked ) ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...
From September 2014 to January/February 2015 I will not be using any English, nor reading any. As such, I won't be on here. PM at will, but I won't be checking/posting unless in emergencies. Certainly not for the first couple of months. Please berate me savagely if I break that rule... |

I've left this downloading, if there's a serial number in the file when I look in the morning, I'll post it. ____________________ Current: CB500 Previous: CB100N, CB250RS, XJ900F, GT550, GPZ750R/1000RX, AJS M16, R100RT, Enfield Bullet

The torrent is for v10, and includes a crack (serial number, plus a replacement licence file) which may work with your existing v10 trial, so I've attached just that bit. If you need the whole thing, I can upload it somewhere.
[edit] Here's the install for v10, it's 30mb and includes the crack.

Im going to have to run round finding karma cookies for you somewhere. The crack worked with the trial version (after a reinstall), but as the full file is downloading fast i'll see if theres actually any difference.
They tout the trial as a 'full' trial, just only for 30 days.
So its not too suprising.
But yeh, thanks for that mate. If you intend using it i can find some of the uni tutorials from first year.
These are some graphs i did for my most recent work on it. ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...

Ooooh well up N30 for the spss
Ohh all of my statistics nipples are tingling now
Nicey nicey zoo zoo nicey nicey zoo
Oh and cagiva gezzer i know (roughly) how to use spss, its just what test to use on what. Which is where the 'stats in field bio' book i just bought comes in handy.
I must admit, hate stats, passionately. Also dont have a clue with them 99% of the time, like i have to plot medians now... i know what that is, just not how to work it out simply (especially with spss). ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...

Of The Beanstalk Updated Hot - Gtstoons Seed
First, GTStoons leverages visual language specific to online subcultures. The updated short uses hyperbolic motion, rapid-cut gags, and deliberately over-saturated color to mimic the look and pacing of viral video content. This aesthetic choice accomplishes two things: it aligns the cartoon with platforms where it will circulate widely, and it turns the story’s emotional beats into immediate, meme-ready moments. Scenes that once relied on slow-building tension are accelerated into punchlines; pathos is converted into punchy visual metaphors that reward repeat viewings and remixing.
Second, the script reframes the protagonist’s motivations. Rather than a simple peasant seeking fortune, the central figure becomes a stand-in for contemporary creative labor—someone who cultivates virality (the beanstalk) in hopes of access to resources controlled by an aloof giant figure. This reframing reads as commentary on creator economies: the climb toward visibility is intoxicating, but it exposes creators to extraction by platforms or patrons. The giant’s hoarded wealth functions both as literal treasure and as a metaphor for gatekeeping, algorithmic control, and the hollow rewards of attention.
GTStoons’ updated “Seed of the Beanstalk” remixes a classic fairy-tale template through modern internet-savvy animation, blending nostalgia, satire, and sensory excess to produce a short that is both familiar and provocatively new. At its core the piece revisits Jack and the Beanstalk’s narrative arc—ambition, upward mobility, and the perils of greed—but reframes those themes for an audience steeped in meme culture, fast edits, and amplified affect. gtstoons seed of the beanstalk updated hot
In sum, GTStoons’ “Seed of the Beanstalk” updates a familiar fable through frenetic aesthetics, intertextual satire, and ambiguous ethics. It is a work that entertains while prompting questions about creativity, extraction, and the costs of climbing—questions that resonate strongly in a digital culture where visibility is both currency and risk.
Finally, the updated short’s distribution and remix-friendly design matter to its impact. GTStoons crafts content with re-encodability in mind: isolated soundbites, loopable visuals, and bold character designs encourage sharing and memetic mutation. The result is a piece that not only comments on the creator economy but participates in it, relying on audience circulation to amplify its critique. That reflexivity—being both product and commentary—makes “Seed of the Beanstalk (Updated Hot)” a salient cultural artifact for understanding how classic narratives are being repurposed in the age of attention economies. First, GTStoons leverages visual language specific to online
Humor in “Seed of the Beanstalk” depends heavily on intertextuality. GTStoons peppers the short with references to gaming, social-media tropes, and corporate branding—sometimes subverting familiar logos or sound cues to make satirical points about commodification. These references create a layered experience: casual viewers laugh at surface jokes, while culturally literate viewers decode the underlying critique about late-capitalist spectacle. The updated “hot” version heightens this by adding edgier, more referential punchlines that signal self-awareness and a desire to provoke discussion.
Moreover, the short’s sound design and music operate as narrative devices. The soundtrack borrows from electronic and trap idioms—genres associated with club culture and online virality—to propel the action and signal emotional shifts. Sound becomes a commentary on tempo of modern life: pulses of bass underscore moments of temptation and risk, while abruptly chopped beats mark failures or setbacks. This sonic texture amplifies the cartoon’s themes without spelling them out, creating affective resonance that dialogues with the visuals. Scenes that once relied on slow-building tension are
Yet beneath the glitz, GTStoons preserves the tale’s moral ambiguity. The protagonist’s final choice resists easy judgment: destruction of the beanstalk halts the extraction but also severs future opportunity. This ambivalence mirrors real dilemmas for contemporary creatives: rejecting exploitative infrastructure can protect autonomy but may foreclose on reach and income. GTStoons refuses a tidy moral, instead inviting viewers to weigh trade-offs—ambition versus safety, exposure versus sovereignty. |

How annoying is this.
I install firewire, get it running, have 'turbo connection' status 90% of the time. Porn downloads pretty much instantly (even if it is all shit, and that 1040kb porn page loader of the ugly bird belly dancing is easily 50% of the hits), but not one of my torrents have budged from 0%.
Not one!
Anyone got ANY direct download links for spss? I know i can leave that on overnight... but i wont need to because even at 80kbps 130 meg is nothing. ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...
